Eco Superheroes

9 Apr 2009

image 2 image 3 image 4 image 5

It took Ecover’s brightest brains seven years to develop a brand new range of 100 % ecological products, called EcoSurfactants. Design is Dead’s brightest brains and greenest fingers designed the matching minisite in just a few weeks. The colourfull Flash-creation explains the EcoSurfactants’ production process and demonstrates just how green and clean they… well, eum… clean. An equally tasty spin-off site was created for celebrity über-housewife Tante Kaat, who was assigned to be the official godmother of the revolutionary new range.

After having designed the Jack website, we decided that the little green fellow was just too damn cute to leave it with that. Luckily, BASE thought so too. Buckle up for some jolly Jack-footage!

Ecover and its other audience

16 Jun 2008

Until recently, Ecover’s customer base consisted mainly of devoted, darkgreen followers of the sustainability religion. The open sandals, woolly socks type, you know. We were assigned to develop a strategy to set up a connection between the Ecover-brand and “that other audience”. That large audience of light green consumers, who practice their ecological beliefs in a common-or-garden sort of fashion. This is where we developed The Healthy Home platform. An ever expanding environment that so far caused Ecover to acquire new customers, get to know them and communicate with them.

And the answer is… green

4 Jun 2008

In an attempt to make the Pukkelpop grasslands a healthier place, Ecover teams up with the festival organization to green up its image and visitors. To illustrate this partnership, we created an online quiz with questions in the range of “which rock singer consistently uses but one piece of toilet paper when visiting the loo?”. It turned out to be a recipe for success: tons of people found their way to our RockEco-quiz through the HUMO website, the Pukkelpop website and the Ecover newsletter. Within less than a week all prizes had been given away and the contest was closed!

We honoured our beloved hero Jack with his very on website. A pretty green paradise, where Jack feels utterly comfortable, as well as his visitors, who are instantly stimulated to join his fight for the green cause. From this vibrant virtual headquarter, Jack calls upon BASE clients’s goodwill to switch to BASE’s electronic invoice and donate points to a favoured environmental project.

Jack to the rescue

2 Nov 2007

In their struggle for a better planet, BASE called us -who else?!- for help. We gave them Jack. This cutesy creature was born from our designers’ brains with the mission to save the world, operating as a true green knight from his very own minisite. His virtual forest houses information on BASE’s environment saving activities and stimulates visitors to take part in their great, green mission. Plenty of birds and plants have been rescued ever since.
