With the financial crisis reaching wuthering heights, finding a job becomes a mission more impossible than ever for young people. Pienternet asked us to create an online portal that provides those transit-people with some guidance in the big bad world called “the labour market”. Thanks to our witty designers, navigating vacancies, writing résumés and scanning your rights and duties becomes a piece of cake. Very tasty cake, for that matter.

In a world ruled by K3 and Mega Mindy, bringing classical music to children is quite a challenge. Luckily, DeFilharmonie decided to team up with Design is Dead for the apparent mission impossible to make a website for children about their orchestra. We mixed, matched, animated and created a fun, playful and very intuitive discovery tour through the wonderful world of violins and wind sections. It earned us –amongst others- an honourable record in Weekend Knack magazine. Beat that, Mega Mindy!

For the launch of the supercalifragalistic Pienternet website, we hosted a virtual cocktail party. During a three-hour live streaming, visitors were repeatedly invited to come and join the very happy hour at our headquarters, or to share the joy from a distance by raising a glass behind their own PC. Never knew that F11 could cause such a hangover!
