Design is Dead is looking for a fresh, enthusiastic sales person to attract new business! Your mission? To search & contact possible new clients and customers, generate new business, and, in the long term, build your own circle of clients. You will also be expected to match customer requirements with what we have to offer. For this, a thorough knowledge of our business (the Internet) and what brands and clients want is a must.
What are we looking for?
As an aspiring account manager you are professional, customer-oriented, accommodating, creative, and presentable;
Moreover you have excellent commercial and communication skills.
You have an excellent knowledge of the online market and are able to convey this message to our prospects and customers
You have a BA in sales marketing or similar by experience.

A Project Manager – Yunomi Brand Activations
Design is Dead is looking for an enthousiastic and creative Project Manager to join and lead our Yunomi (Unilever) Brand Activations team of 5 people.
You are well organized, focused, and flexible, think of tight deadlines as excellent challenges for yourself and your team, and look forward to making things happen when they are required – online, as well as in Rotterdam, Antwerp and Brussels.
- You have several years of relevant experience as a project manager, ideally in a creative agency
- You will maintain the daily customer relation with the Unilever brand managers
- You implement projects upon delivery
- You have experience in managing teams
- You have a conceptual knowledge of and experience with Internet technology and design
- You have excellent communication and team leader skills
- You’re a go-getter, flexible, business-oriented
- You have a strong commercial feeling and a big heart for design
- Your mother tongue is Dutch, and you speak French and English fluently
A Senior Drupal Developer
This job offers you technical challenges and responsibilities in one of the leading creative agencies in Belgium, if not in Europe. You are responsible for the implementations based on the open source CMS Drupal. Being a Drupal expert, you support the team of functional analysts and you assist the system administrators in configuring in Drupal, Apache and MySQL. You are an experienced PHP developer who finds an excellent technical solution for each problem. Although our experienced web integrators take care of the slicing (XHTML + CSS), you are very eager to learn about new frontend (HTML5, JavaScript…) possibilities. You are responsible for preparing the technical application analyses
- You have a higher degree in an IT-related education and you have at least 2 years of practical experience with PHP, Drupal, SQL and JavaScript.
- You are skilled in installing and configuring MySQL and Apache.
- You have strong analytical skills and translate the functional analyses into made-to-measure technical solutions.
- You are passionate about the Internet and web development. You stay up-to-date with all the new technologies. Additional knowledge (ActionScript, mobile development…) is an important asset.
- You are communicative and have a strong sense of responsibility.
A Junior Drupal Developer
Your mission will be to build exceptional and highly customizable internet solutions that produce real business results for our clients. You will work with Drupal, a solution which has already proved very satisfactory in the creation of websites for several of our clients.
- Min. 1 year of experience with Drupal 6
- You can install and configure Drupal
- You can install and configure core and contrib modules
- You can develop a custom module and a custom theme from a to z
- You have very good knowledge of PHP and MySQL: you have developed an application/website without using a CMS
- You know the difference between framework and CMS
