Creation
On the eighth day, he created…
At Design is Dead, know that you can count on top gear and a top team when talking “creation”. Armed to the teeth with an infallible sense of aesthetics, graphical insight and progressive technical skills, our expertise ranges from web stuff of all kinds (B2B, B2C, mini sites, blogs, bannering, online campaigns, intranets, extranets, portals, etc) to print material, packaging, mobile applications and more.
Imagine luminous interface designs, drawings that would make Pepe Rubens go “wow”, posters and flyers that will never end up in a garbage container and skillfully directed photoshoots: we Create. With a capital “C” indeed. Because you’re worth it…

In a world ruled by K3 and Mega Mindy, bringing classical music to children is quite a challenge. Luckily, DeFilharmonie decided to team up with Design is Dead for the apparent mission impossible to make a website for children about their orchestra. We mixed, matched, animated and created a fun, playful and very intuitive discovery tour through the wonderful world of violins and wind sections. It earned us –amongst others- an honourable record in Weekend Knack magazine. Beat that, Mega Mindy!

Jack to the rescue
2 Nov 2007

In their struggle for a better planet, BASE called us -who else?!- for help. We gave them Jack. This cutesy creature was born from our designers’ brains with the mission to save the world, operating as a true green knight from his very own minisite. His virtual forest houses information on BASE’s environment saving activities and stimulates visitors to take part in their great, green mission. Plenty of birds and plants have been rescued ever since.

Props, antiques, decoration, chandeliers,… Sprookjes has it, can find it and can make it. For the website however, they relied on us. We made it a twirling, eye candy-ish “once upon a time” kind of experience site. No monsters or chandeliers were hurt during this production, and they all live happily ever after.
